Privacy.App is a public service of the Magnusson Institute, to provide and support a suite of privacy products and services that we operate at cost to members.
Staying true to the mission, we are committed to protecting the privacy of both members and visitors of visitors to this web site, to the best of our ability. We obviously do not sell any of your information, but more importantly we do not in any way share visitor or member information to anyone under any circumstances except as specifically compelled by law.
We will not run any ads or trackers. We also strive to gather as little "log" information as possible, and strive to retain such data as briefly as possible.

Mailing Lists
If you choose to subscribe to our mailing list, our free electronic newsletter will collect your email address. It will not be shared with a third-party and will only be used for its stated purpose. To be removed from the mailing list please email [email protected] with "unsubscribe" in the subject line from the email you would like removed from the mailing list.
Reader Surveys and Market Research
We may collect personal information from you through voluntary surveys or feedback programs. We will ask for your consent to the processing of information at the point of collection. We will only use your information for the purpose of the survey and we will discard any raw data within a year.
Website Retained Information
All of our web sites are designed to collect as little information about you as possible, to the best of our ability. We do not track your location or use cookies to the extent we have control over it. The content delivery network servers may have temporary records, and third party cloud services like Azure and AWS may keep other information outside of our control, but we will continuously strive towards reducing any such information to be as close to zero as we can.
Comments
Anywhere comments are allowed, comments are individually approved and collect minimal voluntary information. If we inadvertently collect more personal information than intended, we endeavor to delete any such extraneous information.
Other Sites
This website, or others run by the Institute, may contain links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.
Lafwul disclosure of your information
We may disclose personally identifiable information about you to third parties when it is required by law, such as a subpoena or other judicial or administrative order.
If we are required by law to disclose the information that you have submitted, we will attempt to provide you with prior notice that a request for your information has been made in order to give you an opportunity to object to the disclosure, unless we are prohibited or it would be futile. We will attempt to provide this notice by e-mail. If you do not challenge the disclosure request, we may be legally required to turn over your information.
In addition, we will independently object to requests for access to information about users of our sites or services that we believe to be improper.
We want to reiterate that across the board we strive to simply not gather or retain any information about visitors and readers at all.

We are not running any tracking cookies or tracking related services on any of our web sites for DNT to interact with.
